Holistic flow

We enable people to undergo new experiences which help liberate them from whatever is constraining their personal development. This is achieved by inspiring them and creating a fertile environment conductive to mental, emotional, physical and spiritual growth.

Central to this is what we call the ‘holistic flow’. We use this as the basis for our transformation programs. The holistic flow has four main components: out of reference, space, building and release. Each has its own purpose.

Out of reference

Out of reference is essentially about preparing for self-development through inspiration, disorientation, controlled confusion, relaxation and disruptions of routine.

Space

Space involves sharing, interaction, listening, empathising and connecting with yourself and those around you.

Building

Release can be seen as celebrating the transformation, letting go, enjoying your newly-found freedom and wisdom while communicating your learnings to others.

Release

Release can be seen as celebrating the transformation, letting go, enjoying your newly-found freedom and wisdom while communicating your learnings to others.

These themes are so heavily interlinked and interdependent that it’s their combined effect which has an impact. Hence the name: holistic flow.

At certain points during a transformation process, there’s often more focus on one theme than another. In the beginning, for example, it’s important to help leave behind the clutter of our everyday existence, so ‘out of reference’ is to the fore. But this doesn’t mean that the other themes aren’t addressed as well at the same time; or that being out of reference doesn’t re-occur later on.

We have a saying at Amaseu: ‘you can do more than you think you can.’ The holistic flow is the roadmap for achieving this.
